As I was walking around after work today -- I couldn't help myself but watch people...and observe them. You can learn so much in life and about life when observing people -- their ways of laughter, gestures, walking, talking, hand-motions, and simply silence. People in this world are what make the world what it really is. We are the elements that click together in order for anything to even function adequately. I know I'm thinking out loud -- but I also feel that people are so occupied with their own lives, that they don't even know what is going on next to them...let alone around them in other countries and nations. Some people mope around and do not appreciate their opportunity of existence...their opportunity to live without worrying about being saved.
Appreciate the fact that you can walk without having to ask anyone -- that you can laugh about the most simple things in life while others only wish they could. I know that life is a ride and is perhaps more difficult for some than for others -- but enjoy that ride...remember that although the person next to you may be smiling, you never know the pain they're going through inside. Learn to laugh - laughter is the free spirit that enables the soul to live, breathe, and feed off of. Let us appreciate the small thing that we can say thank you to and look at with a smile, because around the world we live in ...there is more to than meets the eye. We may hear about struggles, wars, hurricanes...but we don't live through them. Rather than paying attention the miniscule and very much so ineffective things around us, let us be thankful for the soil and ground we step on, for the simple silence around us, for the calm and collective atmosphere we live in...we can look at places such as Haiti and the people that have suffered and are thus far suffering. We as human beings, as civilians a part of this world need to maintain our strength, hope and perseverance for those people that look at us and wish they could have 1% of the peace we do.
Appreciate your life to the fullest and remember that although 'they' may be across the nation, world, and sea...they are a part of us and make this world as whole as it is today.
God Bless every individual in every corner of the world - alone, sad, and scared -- May God bless every home and person equally, and may He protect us all, give us strength, and always hold our hand at all times.
